Terms and conditions
By using MedSays you agree to these terms. Please read them; they are short.
Last updated: 12 October 2026
1. What MedSays is
MedSays uses artificial intelligence to explain medical and lab reports in plain words and to answer questions about them. You can use it as a guest or with a free account.
2. Information only, not medical advice
MedSays does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition and does not replace a doctor, nurse or pharmacist. The explanations are general information. They can be incomplete or wrong, especially if a photo is unclear. Always check results with a qualified health professional before making any decision, and never delay or ignore medical advice because of something you read on MedSays. In an emergency, call your local emergency number. See the medical disclaimer.
3. Using MedSays fairly
- Upload only reports that are yours, or that you have permission to share (for example, as a parent or carer).
- Do not try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service, scrape it or use it to build another service.
- Do not upload anything unlawful or anything that is not a medical document.
To keep MedSays free, guests and accounts can explain a limited number of reports and send a limited number of messages each day. We may block traffic that looks like abuse.
4. Your account
- An account is optional and for people 16 and older. One account per person; keep your password to yourself. Two-step sign-in is a good idea.
- You are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
- You can delete your account at any time in Account and privacy. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk, and will tell you why when we can.
5. Your content
Your reports and chats stay yours. You allow us to process them only to give you the answers and, if you have an account, to keep them for you until you delete them, as described in the privacy policy. We do not use them for anything else.
6. No warranty
MedSays is provided “as is” and may be unavailable, slow or inaccurate at times. We do not promise that it will meet your needs or be free of errors.
7. Limits of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any decision you make, or any loss that follows, based on information from MedSays. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
8. Changes
We may update MedSays and these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Questions: [email protected].
