MedSays is a free tool that explains medical and lab reports in plain words, so you know what to ask at your next appointment.
Why MedSays exists
Most people get their test results before they see a doctor. The report arrives as a list of abbreviations, numbers and ranges: Hb, ALT, eGFR, TSH. Searching each one takes an evening and often makes things more worrying, not less.
MedSays reads the whole report at once and explains it in the language you choose. It shows which results are in range, which are not and which ones matter most, then suggests questions for your doctor. The aim is a better conversation with your doctor, not a replacement for it.
What we care about
- Privacy first. Use it as a guest and we keep nothing. With an account, chats are encrypted with your own key and deleted when you say so. No ads, no tracking.
- Careful words. MedSays explains; it does not diagnose. Urgent results are pointed out clearly, with what to do.
- Plain language. Short sentences, no jargon, in 17 languages, because many people read reports that are not in their first language.
- Free to use. Everyone should be able to understand their own health information.
Who builds MedSays
MedSays is designed, built and run by the team at Mibnox, a software company that makes websites, apps and AI tools. Our lab test guides are written from public health sources such as MedlinePlus, the NIH and the NHS, and each guide lists them.
