Medical disclaimer
MedSays helps you understand a report and prepare for your appointment. It is not your doctor.

Not medical advice
Everything on MedSays, including the explanations of your reports, the answers to your questions and our lab test guides, is general information. It is not a diagnosis, a treatment plan or medical advice.
Your doctor knows more than your report
A report is only one part of your health. Your doctor also knows your symptoms, history, medicines and other tests. A result that looks unusual on paper can be expected for you, and a result in range does not always mean all is well.
AI can be wrong
MedSays uses artificial intelligence. It can misread a blurry photo, miss a line, or explain something incorrectly. Always compare the values with your original report and ask your doctor before acting on anything.
Do not change your treatment
Never start, stop or change a medicine or a dose because of something you read on MedSays. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist first.
Emergencies
If you feel very unwell, have chest pain, trouble breathing, signs of a stroke, heavy bleeding or thoughts of harming yourself, call your local emergency number now. Do not wait for an explanation online.
Our guides
Our lab test guides are written by the MedSays team from public health sources, which are listed on each page. Ranges are typical adult values; every lab uses its own. The guides have not been reviewed by a doctor for your situation.
